A Letter From Our Owner
To everyone who loves a good candle,
If someone had told me three years ago that I would one day own Rustic Jar Co., I never would have believed them.
Like many good stories, this one started at a local craft fair.
I stumbled across Rustic Jar Co. while browsing the booths and purchased a few candles to take home. Cranberry Woods and Coconut Lime quickly became favorites, and from the very first burn, I knew these candles were something special. The fragrances filled the room beautifully without being overpowering, and they burned cleanly from start to finish.
Naturally, I wanted more.
When I later searched for Rustic Jar Co. online, I was disappointed to find that the business was no longer active. After a little digging, I found an old business card and reached out to the founder, Sally. She explained that she and her husband had become snowbirds and that managing the business from two locations across the country had become difficult.
She still had some inventory available, so I stocked up on my favorite scents. But the more I thought about it, the more I felt it would be a shame for such wonderful products to disappear.
What started as a conversation about candles eventually became a conversation about carrying the business forward.
My husband, Dan, and I purchased Rustic Jar Co. with one simple goal: to preserve everything customers loved about it. After spending time learning directly from Sally and rebuilding the business behind the scenes, we're proud to welcome Rustic Jar Co. back.
Today, every candle continues to be made with the same commitment to quality, care, and craftsmanship that made Rustic Jar Co. special from the very beginning.
I fell in love with these candles as a customer first, and bringing Rustic Jar Co. back has truly been a labor of love. I'm so excited to share it with you. Whether you're returning to an old favorite or discovering us for the first time, I'm so grateful you're here.
